The National Chess Association proudly presents the 2006 Chicago Grand Prix: 10 tournaments-1,000,000 dollars.

The 2006 Chicago Grand Prix classified (CGP) will be the largest Grand Prix to ever take place in chess. Spread out to ten $100,000.000 tournaments the Chicago Grand Prix will be the premier chess event of the year not only does each section's winner recieve over $11,000 each tournament, but the players in each section who have the highest winning percentage at the end of the Grand Prix win a new PT Cruiser Brought to you by_____________ of Chicagoland.
Each tournament is G/40 (40 minutes per player, per game) and each tournament is held in a 5 games Swiss-System format.
 
       All of the tournaments will take place in each areas premier hotels and will feature a winner's banquet and Strech Limo night on the town (downtown Chicago) for the top player's in each section.  The entry fee for each tournament is $162.00 USD and the projected prize fund is $100,000* See below to register, players will have the option of paying in packages of two tournaments each or one at a time.

All entries are securely handled by Malcolm Campbell (Chief Tournament Director) where they are processed. Entries are then added to the databases
